Our Treatment Programmes
We have formulated a number of programmes which address each child’s developmental and therapeutic needs. These programmes are submitted and approved by the Provincial Head of Social Development in terms of Regulation 75 (2) of the Children’s Act, Act 38 of 2005.
Therapeutic Programmes
Children who are admitted to a Child and Youth Care Centre have experienced intensive trauma. Once assessed, specific therapeutic strategies are developed and indicated on the child’s individual development plan, which is under review every six months by the multidisciplinary team who also have to execute the plan.

Developmental Programmes
Children are still developing and have so many abilities, strengths and resilience. Our developmental programme teaches our children to address trauma. This involves contact with a support system which helps and guides them once they reintegrate into society..
